A trial attorney from his early years in law, Mark represents clients in complex business disputes.
Mark began his legal career at a boutique litigation firm with an emphasis on trial work, where he was sitting second chair in jury trials within his first few years as an associate—including on a trial team honored with the Top 100 Jury Verdict for the State of Texas. He loves the dynamic nature of commercial litigation and the challenge of working on diverse matters.
In 2023, Mark joined Husch Blackwell in order to combine his trial experience with the industry-specific knowledge the firm is known for. He works with attorneys from across the firm’s industry units and represents clients in a wide variety of business litigation matters, including partnership and shareholder disputes and breach of contract allegations. Mark describes his area of legal acumen as simply litigation itself, and he knows rules, procedure, and evidence inside and out.
Alongside his experience in the courtroom, Mark is known for his attention to detail, his knack for legal research and writing, and his thorough preparations for trial. Mark is never afraid to take a case to trial, and his opponents know this—and when a case does end up in court, Mark is prepared for every eventuality. Clients especially appreciate how well he prepares them: they’re ready for every question at deposition, and they know exactly what to expect at each stage of litigation. Mark and his team are infinitely better prepared than the opposition, and his thorough planning helps him secure the best results possible.
