Outside the Office
A father of three—Hazel, Henri, and Oscar—Matti devotes most of his free time to family. However, he’s been an active Warhammer hobbyist since his childhood in England: Warhammer is a tabletop wargame that involves building, painting, and fielding miniature armies against opponents.
Matti is also an avid reader of classical and medieval history, as well as 19th and 20th century horror and dystopian fiction. His favorite books include Bram Stoker’s Dracula, the works of H.P. Lovecraft, and Warhammer fiction.
Prior to his legal career Matti was a successful javelin thrower, winning the British Championships and becoming a three time All-American and collegiate school record holder. Matti is currently an assistant track and field coach with Marquette University.
