After more than a decade as a litigator, Meghann has tried cases before juries and defended clients at arbitration. She has broad experience with a wide variety of business disputes, currently dividing her practice between financial services litigation, general commercial matters such as breach of contract allegations, and construction defect or other construction-related disputes on behalf of contractors and builders. While she works with clients in multiple industries, she has a special focus on those in financial services and capital markets, including banks, lenders, and insurance companies. Meghann’s lending matters tend to focus on large-scale loans for corporations.
Meghann is passionate about teasing apart the best possible way to present the client’s argument. She loves problem solving and piecing a strategy together, and she has a reputation for digging into every detail of a case. She plans out a full defense and trial strategy from the very beginning, aiming to undercut as many plaintiff claims as possible. Known for her oral argument skills in the courtroom, Meghann is also a gifted negotiator in settlements: with a dedication to upfront communication with clients, she aims to ensure that clients understand any weaknesses in their cases, settling early if necessary.
