Overview

Meghann is a problem solver who fights for clients in complex commercial litigation matters.

After more than a decade as a litigator, Meghann has tried cases before juries and defended clients at arbitration. She has broad experience with a wide variety of business disputes, currently dividing her practice between financial services litigation, general commercial matters such as breach of contract allegations, and construction defect or other construction-related disputes on behalf of contractors and builders. While she works with clients in multiple industries, she has a special focus on those in financial services and capital markets, including banks, lenders, and insurance companies. Meghann’s lending matters tend to focus on large-scale loans for corporations.

Meghann is passionate about teasing apart the best possible way to present the client’s argument. She loves problem solving and piecing a strategy together, and she has a reputation for digging into every detail of a case. She plans out a full defense and trial strategy from the very beginning, aiming to undercut as many plaintiff claims as possible. Known for her oral argument skills in the courtroom, Meghann is also a gifted negotiator in settlements: with a dedication to upfront communication with clients, she aims to ensure that clients understand any weaknesses in their cases, settling early if necessary.

Clients appreciate Meghann’s strategic mindset, as well as her ready ability to understand their own thinking. Prior to pursuing a legal career, she studied accounting, giving her a solid foundation in clients’ numbers-driven world.
