Overview

Nick sees people as the center of his private wealth practice.

From the beginning of his legal career, Nick has worked with high-net-worth individuals, families, and family businesses, assisting in the drafting of estate plans, wills, trusts, and business succession plans. He also has experience opening probate estates, advising clients throughout the probate process, and assisting with probate litigation—a background he draws on to help clients prepare plans that will prevent future litigation. Nick sees his primary role as simply helping clients secure the future for both their families and their businesses.

In addition to his traditional private wealth work, Nick has also built a corresponding practice in the related fields of special needs trusts, guardianships, and conservatorships, with occasional work in general elder law matters as well. He is particularly focused on cases that involve mental illness or developmental disability, and he has offered training on these legal structures at mental health centers. Nick finds it immensely rewarding to help families ensure that loved ones with disabilities will be taken care of in the future, and he values the opportunity to protect individuals who are unable to manage their own affairs.

Nick was first drawn to the legal field after observing the positive impact his father, also an attorney, had on the lives of his clients. Nick recognized that law was a career filled with opportunities to provide meaningful assistance, and he deliberately chose a practice area where he could work regularly and directly with individuals. Practicing in the private wealth field allows him to work one on one with clients, helping them achieve goals for their and their families’ futures.

Known for his interpersonal skills, Nick has built a reputation as a highly responsive and attentive attorney. Clients have confidence that he’s on top of matters and determined to help them assemble the best plan possible.
