Patrick is an experienced litigator who primarily advises and represents insurance carriers in connection with complex insurance coverage disputes. He has experience with a wide variety of insurance types and claims, including property and business interruption, product liability, commercial liability, directors and officers liability, reinsurance, and bad faith. Patrick has experience representing clients in high-stakes litigation in state and federal court, both at the trial level and on appeal. Patrick has built a reputation as someone who can explain complex legal issues concisely and clearly, and he is a diligent and trusted advisor and advocate for his clients.
Before joining Husch Blackwell, Patrick worked at an international law firm in Washington, DC, where his practice focused on insurance coverage matters. Patrick began his legal career with a three-year stint as an assistant state attorney in the Miami–Dade County State Attorney’s Office, where he gained invaluable courtroom and trial experience prosecuting misdemeanor and felony cases.
