Overview

Rebecca defends banks, financial services institutions, and other lenders in complex commercial disputes. She practices from New Jersey.

After beginning her legal career as a commercial litigator handling a wide variety of cases, Rebecca developed a focus on the consumer financial services industry and other forms of financial litigation. She currently represents both banks and non-bank lenders in consumer finance disputes, including cases involving the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act, and other state and federal statutes.

Rebecca cut her teeth on cases in New Jersey small claims court, giving her courtroom experience early in her career. She quickly found that she thrived on the excitement and adrenaline of the courtroom, oral argument, and negotiations, and she’s equally eager to win for clients at trial or through a favorable settlement. Rebecca has a reputation as the most prepared attorney in the room.

Known for her thorough approach to any problem and her creative solutions, Rebecca understands the importance of knowing clients’ businesses. She’s deeply interested in the consumer financial services industry, and she dives deep into individual client matters and business objectives. In addition to her industry knowledge and strategic mindset, clients also appreciate Rebecca’s demeanor: approachable, positive, and open, she partners well with clients and builds solid working relationships.
