Rose brings a strong passion for the law and nearly 20 years’ experience in litigation.
Rose discovered an interest in law when a job in drug and alcohol abuse counseling led her to research the court system. Fascinated by the material, she enrolled in a paralegal program and realized immediately that she wanted to pursue a career in the field, with an eventual goal of becoming an attorney. In addition to her paralegal studies degree, Rose went on to earn a Master of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s School of Law and plans to complete her Juris Doctorate in the future.
At Husch Blackwell, Rose assists attorneys as they defend the firm’s clients in labor and employment matters and litigation. She drafts and files pleadings and discovery requests, reviews and analyzes discovery responses and opposing pleadings, prepares depositions, and assists with trial preparation. After more than 16 years with plaintiff firms, Rose understands how the opposition thinks and strategizes and has a gift for spotting their weaknesses: in fact, it was her talent for finding the flaws in plaintiff cases that convinced her to switch to the defense side.
In addition to her sharp eye and her deep interest in the law and in clients’ cases, Rose is known for being reachable and responsive. She’s quick to get back to clients and quick to find the answers they need.
