Travis represents clients in all aspects of negotiation, acquisition, disposition, and leasing of real property, including retail, multifamily, industrial, corporate, and raw land assets. He assists in structuring transactions, creates loan documents, performs due diligence, and reviews and cures complex title issues, and he is particularly knowledgeable in leasing matters.
With more than 20 years of legal experience, including as founder and president of multiple title companies, he’s seen just about everything. Prior to developing his transactional focus, Travis also practiced as a litigator—giving him an inside perspective on where a deal can go wrong later, and how to build contracts that avoid this from the beginning.
During his time in real estate law, Travis has seen countless deals close…and many that didn’t. He knows firsthand the obstacles that can derail a transaction, as well as the orderly practices that ensure one will close on time. His experience in title also gave him a deep understanding of the practical end of the documents real estate attorneys negotiate and draft, and he ensures that clients will get to the finish line.
