News Releases

Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Chalon Clark is one of 25 recipients of the 14th annual Dallas Business Journal Women in Business Awards.

A partner in Husch Blackwell’s Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation industry group, Clark focuses her practice on business, financial and construction litigation, products liability, as well as labor and employment matters.

Clark serves on the Board of Directors for KERA, which helps to bring public educational programs to the community, particularly the underserved. Clark is a member of the Dallas Executive Committee of the Federal Bar Association and a founding member and vice president of The N.E.W. Roundtable (Network Empowering Women), a group of black female corporate attorneys who work together to empower and mentor each other in the legal field. She spearheaded Husch Blackwell’s participation with the Diverse Attorney Pipeline Program (DAPP), a non-profit corporation that aims to diversify the legal profession by expanding opportunities for women of color law students.

In addition to her law practice, Clark recently opened an interior design firm, Design Redefined, specializing in restaurants and residential retreats. She and her husband also own a chain of Jamaican restaurants in Dallas called The Island Spot.

The DBJ Women in Business honorees are leaders in their fields across various industries — from retail to finance, from consulting to manufacturing, from legal to energy, from health care to marketing, from restaurants to technology, from retail to construction and architecture — and are being highlighted for their achievements in the workplace and beyond.

Clark received the award at an in-person event in Dallas on August 24, 2021.
