Husch Blackwell Recognized as a Top 25 ITC Litigation Law Firm

Husch Blackwell was recognized by Patexia, the world’s largest network for intellectual property professionals, in its second annual ITC Intelligence Report as being among the top 25 law firms handling Section 337 investigations before the International Trade Commission (ITC). The study measured the performance and activity of attorneys, law firms and companies.

Patexia evaluated more than 350 law firms and 7,500 attorneys over a six-year period ending in December 2020. The study analyzed more than 300 cases involving nearly 900 patents.

Husch Blackwell’s Section 337 team placed among the top 25 of most active law firms representing companies across industries as respondents in ITC litigation, with 15 cases appearing in the study. Partner Beau Jackson highlighted the team’s work, garnering an individual ranking among the 20 most active ITC attorneys for respondents, in addition to being ranked among the 30 most active ITC attorneys overall representing complainants and respondents.

Husch Blackwell’s Section 337 team spans multiple offices and comprises 17 lawyers, 4 paralegals and 2 trade analysts. Recent investigations handled by the team have involved consumer goods, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.
