Husch Blackwell welcomed intellectual property attorney Eric J. Rakestraw to its St. Louis office on April 17.
Rakestraw joins the firm as an associate in its Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation group. His practice is primarily focused on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the chemical and pharmaceutical fields, both in the United States and internationally. His practice also includes the preparation of opinions regarding patentability, freedom-to-operate and other intellectual property issues.
Rakestraw earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from Southern Illinois University School of Law (2010), and his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri Columbia (2007).
