The 2018 edition of Women Inc.'s 2018 Most Influential Corporate Directors, which recognizes "women’s professional excellence at the highest level," lists Singleton B. McAllister.

Singleton B. McAllister, of counsel in the Husch Blackwell's Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation group, has been named to the Women Inc. 2018 Most Influential Corporate Directors.

McAllister, who works with a wide range of companies, associations and organizations in the firm’s Government Contracts, International, and Public Policy, Regulatory and Government Affairs practices, was recognized by Women’s Inc. for her service on the Board of Directors of public utility holding company Alliant Energy, a board on which she has served since 2001, and Pacific DataVision, Inc.

Based in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office, McAllister is also on the board of Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services Inc., the largest protective security company in the world. From 2004 to May 2018, she served on the Board of United Rentals, the largest worldwide equipment rental company, where she was a member of and former Chair of the Compensation and Personal Committees, and the Strategic Planning Committee.

McAllister was elected to the Board of Directors of the Alexandria, Va.-based National Women’s History Museum in August 2018, and has served on a number of civic and charitable boards, including Port Discovery Children’s Museum, the University of Maryland Visitors Boards, and as Secretary of the Commonwealth of Virginia State Board of Elections. She also is a past chair of the National Women's Business Center and past president of Women in Government Relations, Inc.
