December 4th is National eDiscovery Day and we’re celebrating with several events focusing on essential eDiscovery topics that every general counsel and business owner needs to know.
Join members of our team for webinars focused on elements of eDiscovery.
This webinar is intended for in-house counsel involved in the creation or review of privileged communications. We will review the most common types of privileges, then discuss exceptions to privilege waiver covered by joint defense and common interest agreements and the Kovel doctrine. We'll offer suggestions for advising employees on how to protect their internal and external privileged communications. We will provide tips for what you can do to make sure outside counsel’s privilege reviews are more accurate and less costly, and discuss the almost foolproof way to ensure that privilege is not inadvertently waived during discovery. We will also discuss the ethical issues surrounding privileged communications, including considerations when handling potentially privileged communications in your employees’ emails or in documents produced by your opponent in a litigation matter.
