Destinee decided she would be a lawyer when she was five years old.
Her childhood dream never faded, and she spent her education and training focusing on honing her writing skills. As a result, once she decided to officially pursue a legal career, she knew she had one of the key skills needed for success.
That concentration on continuous improvement in writing allowed her to earn such honors as recognition in the National Order of Scribes and Order of Barristers. She also served as an Associate Justice for the moot court honors board in law school.
Destinee gained valuable experience and insight working at the UIC John Marshall Trademark Clinic in Chicago, conducting client intake work and drafting search reports. Prior to joining the firm, Destinee served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Marvin E. Aspen of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
