Edgar serves as a paralegal assistant in the Labor & Employment practice group.
In their previous role as an OAC for the firm's Oakland office, Edgar had long maintained their aspiration of becoming a paralegal. This aspiration led to the enrollment in an ABA Certified Paralegal Certification Program which, in turn, allowed them to pivot to a position as paralegal assistant.
Edgar now uses their admin and legal skills to support the senior paralegal and attorneys throughout the litigation process. This includes document retrieval, profiling documents, assisting with research, maintaining litigation trackers, and maintaining case databases.
