John is a veteran litigator who has defended clients against toxic tort claims in some of the country’s toughest jurisdictions. He practices from Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
For nearly 30 years, John has defended clients in the areas of toxic and mass torts and products liability. He has assisted clients in developing broad litigation strategies across entire case portfolios and has served on teams as national coordinating counsel as well as local counsel.
John has directed and managed the defense of thousands of toxic tort cases in some of the most plaintiff-friendly venues in the U.S. and works with clients to drive innovative approaches to each phase of litigation, including case investigation, discovery, deposition, settlement strategies, and trial preparation. In particular, John has developed a deep understanding of asbestos-related litigation and has represents dozens of clients in resolving disputes and preserving corporate value.
John also has significant experience handling general litigation matters, including professional liability, construction, municipal liability, premises liability and environmental litigation. He has managed premises liability litigation at the state level for a national chain of fitness centers and developed arguments leading to Pennsylvania courts enforcing waiver clauses in membership agreements.
