Overview

Kaylin makes life easier for intellectual property clients and attorneys.

With a degree in Criminal Justice, Kaylin has long had an interest in the law; however, she fell in love with the intellectual property world at her first law firm 10 years ago. She enjoys working in a practice area that changes frequently, and she’s passionate about seeing new technologies and developments. Kaylin especially loves the infectious excitement of the intellectual property clients and attorneys surrounding her.

Kaylin assists with the filing and maintenance of patent and trademark applications, primarily for clients in the healthcare and life sciences industries. She frequently works on projects involving medical devices and equipment as well as software, and she is extensively experienced with United States Patent and Trademark Office’s (USPTO) filing processes. Kaylin often assists with filing international patents and trademarks as well, corresponding with foreign associates at law firms overseas.

Known for her efficiency and responsiveness, Kaylin sees her number one responsibility as simply making clients’ and attorneys’ lives easier. She knows clients need answers and status updates as quickly as possible, and she aims to answer as many questions herself as she appropriately can.
