Megan coordinates the defense of asbestos claims nationwide in some of the most dangerous jurisdictions for corporate defendants and their insurers. She practices from Springfield, Illinois.

Megan has more than a decade of experience defending clients with portfolios of cases involving alleged diagnoses of mesothelioma, lung cancer, asbestosis and other malignancies or pulmonary impairments across Missouri, Illinois and other states at the forefront of the latest wave of asbestos litigation. Megan specializes in crafting strategies for discovery, depositions and settlement negotiations for manufacturing defendants in the industrial equipment, transportation, HVAC and cosmetic products industries. Megan is particularly well-versed in the intricacies of defending talc litigation such as the variety of available microscopy techniques and the plaintiff’s challenges in establishing causation. Megan’s recent research interests focus on new developments in the scientific and medical literature concerning the known and anticipated carcinogenic potential of a variety of environmental factors and the expert witnesses who can effectively testify about these developments to juries.

Megan looks forward to an annual trip to Napa Valley. She and her fiancé also regularly travel overseas. Recent destinations include Hong Kong, Thailand and London. At home, she enjoys cooking and is a devoted University of Illinois sports fan.
