Overview

Meredith defends manufacturing clients in toxic tort lawsuits. She practices from Philadelphia.

As a member of our Asbestos Litigation team, Meredith handles asbestos suits for various product manufacturers and suppliers and is extensively familiar with these cases. She often serves on national coordinating counsel teams for major clients and has represented companies in the automotive, industrial, plumbing and construction industries.

Meredith has represented clients before state, federal and state supreme courts and also served on the disciplinary board for the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania for six years. Yet she is best known for her behind the scenes work for cases and trial preparation—with a client once nicknaming her “the wizard behind the curtain.” She is especially passionate about legal research and loves delving into precedent, legal history and the science behind a case—in fact, she was first drawn to toxic tort by her interest in the combination of scientific facts and legal procedure. Meredith conducts complex legal and scientific analysis at the beginning of the litigation process and oversees discovery, investigation and depositions. She has experience crafting strategic motions for all phases of litigation and developing trial, post-trial and appellate strategies.

Known for her deft management of trial preparation, Meredith also has a reputation for great attention to detail and for a solid understanding of the complexities of asbestos cases.

Outside the Office

With three small children at home, Meredith spends most of her free time with her family.

She can usually be found driving her kids to or from an activity or sport or simply enjoying time outdoors with them. The family especially loves hikes in a nearby state park, as well as trips to a local pool in the summer. Always an athlete herself, Meredith values staying active and helping her kids stay active.
