A seasoned litigator, Previn assists the firm’s Asbestos Litigation team with toxic tort cases.
With more than 20 years of experience practicing a wide variety of law, Previn has handled mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions, estate planning, insurance matters and business planning, in addition to extensive litigation work. He has represented many Fortune 500 companies in high-dollar lawsuits in federal and state court and on appeal, achieving success on summary judgment again and again. At Husch Blackwell, Previn focuses his practice on toxic tort litigation, handling cases, drafting motions and taking depositions, including those of expert witnesses.
Previn finds litigation and negotiation with opposing counsel both exciting and intellectually stimulating, and he especially enjoys formulating the nuanced arguments often present in the sophisticated arena of toxic tort. His broad legal background also informs his litigation strategy by providing him with a fuller perspective on client businesses, business needs and where litigation fits in.
Known for his approachability and accessibility to clients, Previn has a true gift for breaking down legalese and ensuring that clients have a complete understanding of where a case is and where it is likely to go. In spite of his easy manner with clients, he’s also known for his fierce advocacy in court as an aggressive adversary for the opposition.
