Overview

Tana focuses her practice on mass tort and product liability issues, with a small business as background.

Tana grew up along the Black River of southeast Missouri, where her parents still run a canoeing and camping business. Government water testing and compliance was a component of the family operation, and she learned from a young age that while many people enjoyed the water, they all had different ideas of how to do so.

She now helps clients such as Fortune 500 and insurance companies with mass tort, premises liability and product liability matters. Her assistance includes advising on case settlement values, taking witness depositions and counseling on expert retention strategies. When settlement negotiations are not reached, Tana strategizes on drafting and arguing motions for jurisdictional and scientific defenses in St Louis city courts.

Clients appreciate Tana’s experience and her client-first responsive approach: she will collaborate with them to find best solutions for complex challenges.

Outside the Office

Tana’s summers are spent on Missouri lakes and rivers.

Tana spends as much time outdoors with her husband and three sons as possible. Her parents rent canoes and cabins along the Black River, and her in-laws have a resort home on the lake – both in Missouri – so summers are enjoyed on the water. In the spring and fall months, Tana and her young family can be found on little league soccer and baseball fields or cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals.
